Contract
The match will be played between the World 3-Move Champion Sergio Scarpetta from Italy, and Alex Moiseyev from USA (hereinafter referred to as the players.)
Match is sanctioned by WCDF.
The match referee will be Charles Walker from the USA
The referee will have no liability to the players.
The match will be played at International Checker Hall of Fame (ICHF), from Wednesday 11th to Thursday 19th March 2020.
The following will be guests of the Organization (ICHF) during match (food and ICHF lodging):
World Champion Sergio Scarpetta, in terms of match-related travel expenses: travel up to $1500, and prize fund (see #7).

Match donors of $250 or more
Any prize fund above minimum of US$7,000.00 bid that is upfront directed for Sergio Scarpetta will be divided 60/40 between the winner and runner-up of the match. In case of a tied match, it will be divided 50/50. Additional prize fund (as applicable) will be made known within the beginning of the match.
The match will consist of 32 games.
Games will be played at 24 moves per hour, with 24 moves required per each additional hour in addition to any unused time. The Players will use Fischer clocks with 30 seconds increment for each move
4 games will be played each day.
The match will be played with this schedule:
11th March Games Opening Ceremony 9:00 a.m. – ICHF
11th – 14th March, Games 1-16 - ICHF
15th March, Day of Rest
16th – 19th March, Games 17-32 (as needed) - ICHF
19th March - Award ceremony and proclamation of the World Champion, 8:00 p.m. - ICHF Unless otherwise indicated (such as for opening ceremony), play will commence at 9:00 am each day, and at the 3:30 p.m., or at referee discretion. Clocks may be started on absent players. The break between the first and second game of each round will be at most 15 minutes. The break at the end of the round or the break for lunch will be at least 90 minutes.
An opening from 156-deck is selected after both players are present. No opening is to be repeated during the match.
After drawing for colours for Game 1, colours will alternate each day as follows: RWWR WRRW RWWR WRRW etc.
Both players shall record games. Players with 5 minutes or fewer prior to a time control may make a tick on the scoresheet and recover the moves immediately after the time control.
Unless otherwise specified here, WCDF rules (2012) will govern play.
The winner will be declared World 3 Move Champion. In the event of a tied match, Sergio Scarpetta will remain World 3-Move Champion.
Free access to the room for audience, journalists and TV reporter during the match.
The Organization reserves the right to make changes to the general program (that will be anyway defined before to start the match) aimed to improve the prize money (e.g. the venue) of the prestigious sporting event, in case of new sponsors in support.
