For our own legal protection, you must agree that for anything you submit to us, you grant us an unlimited, irrevocable, cost and royalty free non-exclusive license to use your submittal in any manner which we see fit, without compensation to you of any kind. You further certify that you have sufficient rights in the submitted material to grant us such a license and that you will defend and hold us harmless in the event of a claim against us for our use of the material. We do not guarantee to use any material submitted to us or make any promises of any nature.
We're sorry that this sounds so draconian but we have limited resources and must play it safe. As a practical matter, these terms and conditions are likely to have little if any effect (but you must of course rely on your own judgment).
Comments, news items, problem compositions, game analyses, guest articles, etc., are all welcome. However we can only publish articles written to a professional or near-professional standard. We just don't have time to do extensive edits or rewrites (and we've had some unfortunate experiences with this in the past).
